Li-Fan is a scientific advisor of Elixiron Immunotherapeutics. He currently serves as Associate Professor of Division of Biological Sciences, University of California, San Diego, Member of Moores Cancer Center and Associate Editor for The Journal of Immunology. Li-Fan’s research focuses on roles of regulatory T cells in establishing immunological tolerance to “self” and the regulation of immune responses to pathogens and tumors. He has many publications in the leading journals including Nature, Cell and Immunity. He has won numerous awards and honors for his research and holds several patents. Dr. Lu received his Ph.D. in Immunology from Dartmouth College and completed two postdoctoral fellowships, one at the University of Washington and the second at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
